Dinner at a local Restaurant, after dinner you can explore the night market near Mekong riverside. This place it’s very well known to tourists who come to Vientiane.
Overnight in Vientiane.
After breakfast, visit Morning Market, the first market in Vientiane, to spend time shopping on your own. Drive to Vang Vieng, about 1 hour on the new highway from the capital. Once a key military airfield during the Indochina wars, the town’s central feature is the long-abandoned runway along the eastern side of town. On the west side, a small river separates the town from the nearby caves & mountains, which can easily be visited from town.
On arrival in Vang Vieng, soak up the scenery on a boat cruise along the Nam Xong River. Then, pay a visit to the magnificent Tham Nang Fa Cave and Phoukha cave (Blue lagoon) from them you can enjoy swimming or take a zipline activities (this payment not include with package) then
continue to Ban Pha Thao Hmong Village to learn more about the Hmong people and their rich cultural heritage.
Overnight in Vang Vieng.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the train station to Luang Prabang.Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and bring you to your hotel.
After that, take the city tour to visit the former Royal Palace which has been turned into a National Museum.
This interesting structure displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. Wat Xiengthong. We also have enough time this day to explore some other landmarks, including the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham, the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the Wat Mai with five tiered roofs.
A visit to Luang Prabang would be not complete without climbing 329 steps to the top of Phousi Hill for a beautiful sunset view of the Mekong River. The zigzag path crosses over various temples to the sacred, gilded stupa of Wat Phou, another World Heritage Site, recognized by UNESCO in 2002 at the summit.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms giving ritual to saffron-clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession.
After breakfast, we take a drive (30 km South) to visit Kuangsi Waterfall, which, though not very high, is spectacular and really beautiful with its green surroundings as the preserved National park.
We stop en-route, stop to visit a fresh produced market namely Talad Phosy, and also visit Ban Na Oune, a small village of a hill-tribe group “Hmong”, probably the best-known minority group in Laos, return back to Luang Prabang and continue transfer to airport to take the departure flight back home.
