When arriving at Luang Prabang airport , you will be welcomed by our tour guide and driver. After transferring to the hotel, doing check-in and relaxing, you will be taken to a local restaurant for a tasty dinner. You can spend your free evening on joining the lively Night Market or relax at the hotel.
An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms giving ritual to saffron-clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession.
Start your city tour at the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum, where you will explore the history of Laos. Continue on foot to Wat Mai temple, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief, and WatSensoukarahm temple, which features a beautiful dazzling golden façade. Next we visit WatVisoun, the shrine of WatAham, next we visit WatXieng Thong temple, the most revered temple in Luang Prabang. Located at the end of the peninsula, close to the Mekong, this temple was built in 1560 by King Setthathirat and is decorated with ornate carvings and mosaics.
Afternoon climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.From there, we explore the night market, where you can find a wide collection of handmade textile by local and hill tribe people in the surrounding towns before transfer to the hotel for relaxing.
After breakfast we drive out of the town where you have the option of stopping to visit Khmu, Hmong and Lao Loum villages, representing the main ethnic groups of Laos. This then takes us to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pool or walk along the forest trails. A picnic lunch is taken at the falls. Next to the falls is a Bear Rescue Centre, that does a great job in protecting and rehabilitating the rare Asiatic Black Bear.
We then return to Luang Prabang then board an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which gives us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. We’ll make sure to stop at the Pak Ou Caves, sanctuaries consisting of two large caverns, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images. We will also stop at a few villages during the day, including Ban Xanghai where the local rice wine is produced. We return to Luang Prabang late afternoon then transfer to the hotel for your leisure time.
After breakfast today will be free until time transfer you to railway station.
Upon arrival at Vang Vieng station you will meet the tour guide and driver. We will transfer you to the hotel for check in.
After that we enjoy your relaxing time on a long trail boat along the Nam Song river. Overnight in Vang Vieng.
After breakfast we start to visit Phu Kham Cave and NangFa Cave with scenery along the way.
This morning, then we’ll drive to an organic farm, famous for its sericulture or silk farming, as well as its mulberry tea, wine, and other products. En-route to Pha Tang village, you’ll enjoy the beautiful karstic landscape around the small town.
After lunch, we’ll drive back to Vientiane and your day is free to explore the capital city before we head for dinner at a local restaurant.
We started visiting the major sights of the capital; including the Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. Enroute to Lao’s national icon, the precious and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe.
In the afternoon we went out to see Buddha Park, an enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on the Mekong Riverside meadow, close to the Friendship Bridge.
The Mekong river side is the perfect place to end the day and admire the sunset.

After breakfast, you are free and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
